PART 1 - STUDENT ADMISSIONS

Opening Fall Enrollment for Current Academic Year and Previous Two Years
Admissions & Records home page
The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is not an "Open Admissions Institution". However, for many years the Admissions Office worked closely with high school guidance counselors in the state, advising them on UIUC's current admissions criteria. As a result, students with lower qualifications were discouraged from applying, and a very high percentage of those applying were accepted. Thus, we do not believe that the percent of applicants accepted that can be computed from the data below is a good measure of the selectivity of our institution.
