4120-4354 ADMISSIONS, STUDENT QUALITY, STUDENT/FACULTY RATIOS

4120-4137 NEW BEGINNING FRESHMEN ADMISSIONS
Source: New Freshman Profile published by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions (through 2008-09) plus additional information by college provided directly from that office. New freshmen are students who never enrolled in a degree program at an institution of higher education. Some of them may have taken college classes while still in high school or during the summer between high school and college. Statistics shown are for fall term admissions only. Note: data from 2009-10 on counts original applications only; students who applied to one college and were redirected to another college are not counted in the second college. Prior to 2009-10, the New Freshman Profiles do not indicate whether redirected applications are counted or not. Also, college-level data is very spotty prior to 2009-10 due to changing formats in the published New Freshman Profile.
Data is available only for college and campus levels.
